This one exists because developers keep asking for a quick way to turn one picture into the right set of iOS, Android and web icon sizes without installing software or uploading their artwork.

Why it exists

Developers repeatedly ask in software-recommendation and developer forums for a quick way to produce correctly sized app icons without installing a desktop app or sending their unreleased artwork to a stranger's server. This tool answers that: the image is processed locally with the browser's canvas and the ZIP is assembled in memory.

How the content is written

The guides on this site are written by hand from the published platform conventions: Apple's point-to-pixel scale factors, Android's density buckets and adaptive icon safe zone, and the web app manifest maskable icon specification. Platform rules change, so each guide recommends checking the official documentation before a store submission.
